TL1 · PROFESSIONAL GRAND TOUR
Tailor-made support for your internship in Italy
Living abroad can be exciting and challenging, especially for a first mobility experience. Our local team supports participants throughout their stay, helping them settle in, supporting them through difficulties and monitoring their skills and competences.
We maintain contact with sending organisations and host companies, connecting practical arrangements with the needs of the participants.

A welcome session to help participants settle in
The experience begins with a welcome session. We introduce the programme and explain the practical information participants need for their stay, including accommodation, local transport, workplace routines and whom to contact.
It is also a chance to meet the team, ask questions and discuss expectations before starting the placement. Clear information helps participants approach their first days with greater confidence.
Together on the first day at work
On the first working day, we accompany participants to their host companies. This helps them make the transition from arrival to the workplace and meet the people they will work with.
The introduction provides an opportunity to clarify the placement arrangements, daily routine and points of contact, so participants know how to begin and where to turn with questions.
Practical help and personal support
Support also means listening to how participants are experiencing life abroad. Adjusting to shared accommodation, a new workplace or different ways of communicating can take time.
Our team helps participants discuss concerns and identify practical next steps. We stay in contact with the sending organisation and host company when coordination is needed, while encouraging participants to develop confidence and independence.
A final meeting to reflect on the experience
At the end of the stay, we involve participants in a final meeting, with feedback also discussed at the host company. Together, we look back at the placement, the skills practised and the experience of living in Italy.
This is an opportunity to recognise progress, share observations and identify learning that participants can take into their studies and future working lives.
